    Default 9 inch hercus/southbend lathe.

    I have my lathe for sale. served me well, but i have to move house and cannot take it with me.


    9 inch southbend lathe.

    16 speeds

    has ball / curves turning attachment
    dead centre
    boring bar
    lots of tooling
    live centre
    jacobs chuck
    2 and 3 point steadies
    works well. not sure what to add.

    and here's a picture of the cuts it now does on a bad piece of hot rolled steel. Pretty good yeah?>

    I'm more looking to sell everything together. As it's everyone someone would need to get started and then some, so they can really get into it and enjoy.

    yep got the issue sorted ( was just have a better tool do the cutting) and sadly have to move house and can't take it with me :'(

    Lathe sold today

    thank you for all who took a look and thank you to those who gave me a helping hand with my questions over the last couple of months

    At the end of it i got a really nice manual gear shifter for the car that i can say i made myself as well as a whole bunch of time learning on the lathe

    I was thinking " whaaaaa ????? "

    then looked at pictures again. its the picture, probably the angle or i wasn't perfectly still when taking the picture
