NSW Rapid QA toolpost
This has been sitting on the bench for a few years now so it’s not going to be used by myself anytime soon.
I’m not a machinist so info a bit sketchy.
Rapid ISA TIPO-B markings.
For a 14 to 18” lathe I’d think, 1 1/4” hole down the guts.
3 tool holders plus a #3 MT holder.
Included is another tool holder that doesn’t fit atm but looks like it will with a bit of milling.
Asking $225.
This is heavy, I can box it but if you want to use a courier you will have to organise them.
Im retired so around most daze.
We are driving to Brisbane in a few weeks so delivery inland or the coast a possibility.

I'm interested but can you post the dimension between the root of the Vee's? Or any other dims like length, height, tool shank opening size etc. Hard to tell from a picture just what size it is. The Type B is a clue but not definitive.
Thanks.

Bit busy atm but I’ve traced around with a biro and measured the toolpost body with a vernier.
Can you scale off this ?
Also a few quick pics with the phone.

The centres between the Vs are the authoritative measurement:

but from the 127mm block, these look like 501-B size.
See https://algra.it/wp-content/uploads/...e-toolpost.pdf
Sadly, too big for me.

Thanks Nigel.
Here’s another attempt.
From the 3 that fit. Can do the odd one tomorrow.

Yeah I need more holders, the block I don't need. Problem is I don't expect you to split them, that'd be dumb.
And while I was in Sydney over winter I managed to escape the covid lockdown and am back in Tasmania. Wasn't able to get around more then 5km from my house anyway which put a severe crimp in my usual winter shopping habits.
So - I'll take the lot if you're prepared to pack & post. PM me if so, we can then dicker over total price including postage. If you only want local pick up, then no can do, not planning on being back for many months.

We were planning on being in the apple island from the 18th of this month
A group of geriatrics mit ebikes doing the ride from Shearwater to the national park below Ouse
Staying in pubs etc and sampling the local liquid refreshments along the way.
Of course covid has put a stop to this and our friends from Margate are still stuck in NZ after their ski season over there
We do however plan on doing the ride next year when the weather cools a bit.
My ute was to be the transport for the bikes from NSW so if you can hang off awhile the bits would fit in the trundle drawer no probs.
Otherwise I can knock up a ply box for posting.
