    Default Tecmen welding helmet

I bought a job lot today which included a NIB Tecmen welding helmet - I haven't tried it, just looked in the box to check it was there.

It switches at 1/16,000 of a second apparently, where as my Miller switches at 1/20,000 second, so I'd keep using the Miller and have this as a 'spare' if I kept it.

Is anyone interested in it for $90 (plus postage if applicable)?
I can keep it NIB for about a week. After that it will probably lose that status and be put away somewhere to avoid questions along the line of "where did that come from?"

Techman is good enough for a decent price. But You need to protect it by using a respirator helmet. I think this Viking 3250D FGS PAPR is a good choice for you. The Viking 3250D FGS PAPR is that this unit maintains a positive air pressure at two speeds of 180 and 210 liters per minute. Breathing is effortless, with clean air being sent through to your nose and mouth! It has another nice feature is the audible and vibrating alarms that notify the operator to change the battery or filter.

Good of you to join just to promote a $2000 helmet on a two year old thread for a cheap mask.

    Hi Stephen Nade,
Your reply to Michael's 18 month old post was inappropriate and has no place at all in our Metalwork Forums Market place, regardless of the date.
In case you had not worked it out yet it is METALWORK Machinery,Equipment Market

The member had something for sale and had a perfect right to offer it with out ANYBODY chiming in an telling us that his widget is better.

In this particular sub forum the convention is that those interested in a purchase can ask questions and later on if purchase is agreed to contact the seller to continue the transaction. Otherwise in this sub forum, keep your comments and advice to yourself. There are other suitable forums to post a review you may wish to make. Think about what you post and where to post it.

As you are a new member, I have cut you some slack, but any similar repetition will be treated strictly as per rules.
