    Default 3 jaw lathe chuck

I have a 3 jaw lathe chuck for sale, 115mm diameter. It comes with a back plate and key.
The back plate thread is 8TPI, 1.5 inches in diameter, to suit a Hercus lathe.

    Price: $60
    Pickup from Gulfview Heights, SA

    Hey Mate,

    What brand was the chuck?
Just confirming you don't have outside jaws for it and would you consider posting?

    Thanks,
    Tom

    Hi Tom,

I am unsure what brand of chuck this is. There is nothing stamped on it that shows this.
I do not have any outside jaws for it. This chuck came as a spare with my lathe which I purchased many years ago.
I have not used it. The jaws move smoothly without any noticeable wear.

    I would consider posting.

You go for it racingtadpole, I really shouldn't buy another chuck without outside jaws.
    thanks

    Looks like a Taylor chuck!
Unfortunately I have never managed to get one of those.

If it’s something note worthy you can have it, otherwise it’s going to become part of a welding rotator.

Thanks, that's a kind offer. But the harsh reality is I have too much stuff and must reduce the pile, not increase it.

Paul it seems like this is still up for grabs. But the photo link no longer can you post the photo again?
