More "This shed is getting a bit full"
Yes, those immortal words have been uttered as the other half is looking for something...
To show willing (and move some change of mind projects), I present the following -
A couple of brass leadscrew nuts from the US, NIB. $30 each (note that one is LH thread)
P1040765.JPG P1040764.JPG
A drill sharpener, with instructions. I used to use this but now have the Darex $25
P1040760.JPG P1040759.JPG
A set of 4 BIG 32 series collets (8, 10, 20 and 25mm). I doubt anyone here would use them, but before they are binned... $20
P1040527.jpg P1040525.jpg
Mitutoyo 2 to 3" micrometer $40. Fowler clock (graduated in 0.001") $30
P1040766.JPG P1040767.JPG
JT1 to straight shank (1/2") drill arbor. $20. Electric level. Works, but no battery $20
P1040773.JPG P1040772.JPG
1/2 hp 3 Phase motor (6 pole = 900rpm nominal) and VFD $200 - could separate I suppose if needed. 1:100 gear box $100
P1040869.JPG P1040881.JPG P1040868.JPG P1040866.JPG
Scleroscope - early hardness tester. I even bought a new rubber bulb for it (works on air). Probably not practical in a workshop but cool clutter for a man cave... ($75)
P1040778.JPG
One of those "I can't get this thing to work" gadgets. It is meant to grind TIG electrodes to a nice taper but I think I did not have the pressure right to get it to rotate. I'm now making up a device to fit on a bench grinder, so it is not needed. ($20)
P1040775.JPG
Old knuckle press. I was going to turn this into a sheet metal notcher, but then found one on Gumtree. Complete except for the handle. At a guess, I'd say around 2t? Ram is adjustable but stroke is limited, so not too good for bearings, but to set rivets or stamp things would be good. $250

Any freight at buyer's expense.

I’ll take the drill sharpening jig.
Potentially interested in the press but I’d like to have a look at it before I make my mind up on it. How deep is the throat?
Im on nights until Thursday so I won’t be able to pick up until end of the week, if that doesn’t fit your plans I won’t be offended if you can make a quicker sale.

Later in the week is fine (or weekend by arrangement).
Press throat is 4". Ram travel is around 35mm, although the power part of the stroke would only be the last bit of that. (inside of the ram is threaded, so where that stroke occurs is adjustable)
I'll put you down as definite on the drill sharpener and first refusal for the press.

I can pack and post. I'll have a go this weekend and see how it fits and so be able to give you a postage cost. Bank transfer works fine.

Racingtadpole has had a look at the press and it is not quite what he wants, so it is available for consideration by others again.

No probs David.
So for those who came in late, there is still the 6 pole motor and gearbox (& VFD) - that was weld rotator mk1, and the knuckle press that I would like to move on.
(The other stuff would be nice to move too, but I can live with it hidden in cupboards for the next few years until I try to move it on again...)

G'day Mate,
I am 100% interested in the 3ph motor-vfd and gearbox.
Hopefully it is able to be packed into a box or 2 and be freighted to Country VIC.
It shouldn't be to much of a problem, I have managed to post a 75cc demo saw to Darwin lol.
Just flick me a pm with a quote and I will fix you up for said items and any extra costs.
