B.E.L. Acramil Chuck body and Collet
More cleaning out.
Found a NT30 Acramil body and 1/4" collet, no nut or drive dog.
Acramil Body Collet compr.JPG
Tempted to keep just for the NT30 aspect.
Must be something it could be transformed into, but I currently have too much transforming on my plate.
It should go to someone who needs/wants it.
Free for pack and post.
Pick-up at Kingswood (next week) is fine.

Greg, and others.
Clarkson collets do not fit an Acrimil chuck.
The Clarkson has a one-piece collet retained by the nut.
The Acrimil has a two-piece arrangement with an internal drive dog mated with each size of collet.
You must keep track of the two parts, the drive dog and the collet.
The reason Acrimil never caught on, the two parts frequently got separated.
The body I have is still useful, however.
It is a NT30 fitment that could be used as a base for something else.
The enterprising among us could make the drive dog and nut to allow use of the 1/4" collet.
John.
