vic Laveron. Grinder for sharpener or something.
Hi i have this motor with very sold base and approx 100mm cupped grinding wheel, Its 3 phase 3000rpm. I think its 1/4 hp but looks bigger .Its very solid and heavy. I think it might be Swedish .
It would be great for a drill sharpener or other type of sharpener.

Definitely Swedish, ASEA have been making motors for a looong time (if I'm not mistaken, the Z-class trams all run on ASEA). A clear pic of the ASEA plate will show all the relevant info
