I would love this stand, but sadly I'm in Muswelbrook NSW.
Going to Richmond sometime in the next month if you're close to that area.

    Hi Dave,
Thanks for your interest in the stand.
I am in Drummoyne - is that too far for you?
    Cheers,
    Bill

    Thanks for the reply.
Yeah sorry, I just looked it up and it's an hour drive one way, so a fair bit out of the way.

Good luck with the sale, nice stand and worth the money. You couldn't build a solid stand like that for that price out of steel. Cast iron is much better though.

4 young kids and a 2 hour drive after seeing my 96 year old war veteran grandfather at a home, I think the kids would be over it after driving 4 1/2 hours down and back on top.

Now if it was a surface grinder, they would have to put up with it.

    Kryn,

It is about time you did another tour of the Eastern states. I have a couple of items pending collection.

If you can wait until after New Years I'll take it off your hands - it's hard to get down to Sydney for the next few days with family commitments. If you are able to get it to Wahroonga/Hornsby area I will happily pay extra and I could pick it up earlier - the extra $ is worth the lessened hassle with dragging the kids down there. Either way, I'm happy to take it off your hands.

Hi WCD/Bill. I can come pick this up when it suits you. It will be perfect for the flat belt grinding head I have. Had given up searching for cast iron stands, the right type comes up so rarely.
    Cheers, Andrew.

    Hi J.C.
    After New Year is fine.
Unfortunately you will need to come here to collect it - please confirm that is still OK with you.
    Cheers,
    Bill

Thanks for a very pleasant transaction Bill - a 5 hour round trip and it's in the workshop - looking forward to the little tin shed cooling down enough that I can go swap my existing stand out for this one.
