Default GMF Tipped Tool Grinder - Sydney

When purchased the grinder ran sweetly, though it has not been run for some years.
The rubber insulation on the power cord was perished, and the cast iron plug damaged, so they were discarded; also the switch knob is missing.
3 phase 415V 3/4HP 2850rpm motor, can be run in either direction, Fitted with angle adjustable tables at both ends.
Not currently fitted with grinding wheels.

Pick up: inner west of Sydney .
    $80

I will take this if I can find somebody who would get it to a freight depot or bus depot for me.

EDIT. I better pass on this the only person I have in Sydney is on an 8 week holiday in Europe. Whoever gets this is getting a bargain.

    Default It's mine.

    Hello from BC.
Would you be able to put the grinder in a carton for a trip to Brisbane? I can organise transport to work.
    Regards
    BC

    Guys,
Apologies - I should have said local pickup is my preference.
The grinder weighs 32 kg, so cannot be posted.
Also my experience is that stuff like this gets busted in transit unless properly protected in a solid box.
So if you can get someone else to collect it that's fine, and I will put it aside for you, but I really do not want to make a crate and drive to a transport depot.
    Cheers, Bill

    Hello from BC.
It looks like the grinder is on a base. If you can put a box over the top and tie it down I should be able to get it picked up as long as someone is at home.
    Regards

    Hi BC,
That's actually a little dolly on castors which I use to save my back when moving things around, so I hope you will understand that it's not part of the offer.

Hello Bill. I'd still like the grinder and I'm prepared to pay for you to put it in a carton. As long as there is lots of stuffing it should be ok.
    Please let me know.

    Hi Aaron,
How did you remember that detail? I'm impressed!
Actually that trapezoidal thread was cut with a tool sharpened on a bench grinder - with the toolrest modified to assist with the angles required.
    Cheers, Bill

I did post above but on discovering that I couldn't organise a collection for a while I edited my post. Now I can see freighting it is very awkward for you I will put my hand up again. If you can wait a couple of months for collection I will have it. Obviously I will pay you immediately.

    Decision time.

Since Eric (lamestllama) was the first in line, and is now able to organise direct collection, it is his - subject to payment.

I sincerely apologise to other interested people who may be disappointed by my initial lack of clarity on the direct collection and packing aspects.
