Taps, dies, reamers
I have a collection of miscellaneous taps, dies, reamers etc - as shown in photos.
They were inherited - I don't have a use for them.
Mostly - but not all - non-metric
Mostly - but not all - used
Price $150 for the lot - I will not separate.

I'll put my hand up for them. Can you work out postage to SA? Post code would be 5014

I bought what now?..
I'd only gotten up 20 minutes earlier. I was still probably half asleep.
Seriously, most of the stuff will be of use to me but there will be some things that are duplicates (like the expanding reamers) or that I may not want (possibly the ME thread taps), so I do intend passing on what I don't think I have a need for. I'll put you on the list.

According to the RULES of the Market Place, Michael has bought them as there was no one saying "I'll take them"!!

My understanding of the rules suggest that a post of I'll take it is the recommend method of securing a sale , but a PM can also be used.
If the PM method is used it could create confusion or discontent and it also eliminates a paper trail for disputes.

Well - a PM came in first So I thought they should get first go
But I agree there is no "paper trail"
What is the rule here?
Simon.

Sell it to the person who sent you the PM, rules don't say you can't purchase this way , only that there could be issues by not selling through reply's to your initial posting.

For goodness sake. The rules are not hard to understand and plainly say:
Major Rule.
All correspondence between Buyers and Sellers is to be done through the board. PM's and Emails are for exchanging personal contact information only once a deal has been done.
This came from ADMIN last year after a bunfight similar to what we are having now.
