1" hex Die nuts Unknown thread
Going through the box of things today and I found 3 more Hex die nuts. I have absolutely no idea what thread pattern they actually are but the closest I've found is Stub Acme. They appear to be 1" major diameter but the tread pattern is quite shallow. It has only 3 tpi from what I can measure roughly. They have no factory markings at all but somebody has engraved the word "Front" and "F" on one side of 2 of them.
If anybody is interested in them I'll again say just $10 plus postage. I'd be happy to negotiate. I have no use for them but I'd be interested to know what they are.

Nearly 50 views and nobody has had a guess at what they are? It would appear to be some sort of fast feed drive screw at 3 tpi but from what I don't know. Being so shallow it wouldn't have a great deal of push / pull power or strength.
The only use I'd have for these would be putting threads on the end of 1" diameter timber dowel broom handles, but without the matched tap for the female it isn't much use.

For wood or light use may be able to use the die to create a tap.
