    Default Portable power hacksaw

I'm helping my sister in law dispose of some gear as she and her (now seriously ill) husband move into a smaller house.
I'll be posting a few tools here and some on the Woodwork forum.

First off is an interesting old portable Power hacksaw. Capacity: 4" x 3", really well made and working fine:

    Default Healy Transformer welder

    Oldie but goodie.
An Australian made 160A single phase transformer type welder.
This is more powerful than most of these old school welders and runs 4mm Iron Powder rods without any stress.
It is likely to last for another 40 years.....
Looking for $100 Offers considered. Please PM me.
This thing is heavy and can't be posted - please consider that in your offer or find a way with me to pick it up or have it picked up. Happy to assist with transport arrangements (e.g. strapping to a pallet or taking it to a Bendigo Transport depot).

Default Single phase portable Air compressor

This is an Australian made 8CFM single phase two cylinder air compressor.
    Run and works well.
    Looking for $100. Offers considered.
Please PM me. Too heavy for postage. Consider that in your offer. Pick up or you arrange transport (I'll help of course - like strapping it to a pallet or taking it to a transport depot in Bendigo).

    Default Some Items Sold

    Hi all again.
The hacksaw is going to Michael G and the compressor was sold locally.

So only the air compressor still left, and the tools in the woodwork forum.

    OOps
    My bad....
As I said, the saw and the compressor are gone. The WELDER is still available. This is a good one guys! If you want a slightly smaller and lighter transformer welder, I'll sell you my 135A welder and I buy this one instead
    Cheers, Joe

    Joe,

I was too late to see this thread, would have been interested in that hacksaw.

Would you be able to say a few words about how it works or post another picture or two if they explain it please ?

What is the driving mechanism between the motor and the saw frame ?

I tried googling Toyang Hacksaw looking for pictures but got nothing.

Seems fair. The hacksaw is at ny place now - in readiness to take to MichaelG in about 3 weeks' time. So I can have a closer look and take some photos. I believe the saw is moved by a scotch yoke mechanism but I don't yet know how the speed of the motor is reduced.
Give me a couple of days....
    Cheers, Joe
