Hi Bob. The worth would be what someone is prepared to pay, condition also plays a part.
I'd say somewhere around $200 -$250 would be a fair price. Postage would be expensive as I estimate around the 15 Kg mark.

To be honest depends how many are still any good. Second hand taps and dies can be a bit of a gamble, especially older ones all jumbled together. Blunt and worn out. Big taps can be resharpened if you have the proper equipment.
Gold, the colour of choice for the discerning person.

Any listed on Ebay , that are not new old stock are as RC says a bit of a gamble.
I have bought a few over the years and 30% are only good to clean up damaged threads not cutting new .

looks like they stay in their boxes for a few more years ,as they arent blunt and worn out ,may use them one day (doubt it )................................bob

Hi Bob.
Most of us are prepared to pay a fair price for tools we need. I would certainly be interested in a few sizes.
But I can't justify spending hundreds on boxes of taps and dies that I MIGHT use one day, as I already have a big box of taps and dies already.
If you make a list of the sizes available, there is a pretty good chance that you would sell many or most - in smaller lots to different people, me included.
I tried to read the sizes I could in the photos and there are a few I would like, but none of the tap sizes are legible....

So Bob, what do you think they are worth, or more to the point what would you sell them for?
Cheers Andrew

I'd be interested in the metric ones, or the UNF/UNC.

I don't want ALL of them, just a few, probably the larger metrics/or UNC/UNF would do me, I'm not that greedy

This thread has developed to a point where it does not really need to be in the general forum.
It is being moved to the
METALWORK - Machinery, Equipment, MARKET.
Pm the seller for a price, as the rules for section do mention a price should be posted, but We 'll bend the rule as the poster seems to be separating the collection.
