Fixed steady rest for 12" lathe
I bought this fixed steady for my ten inch lathe four years ago and never got around to butchering it to fit. Lucky you. Someone out there needs this steady...its pretty high quality with (of course) bronze wear tips on the three fingers. Robust construction-the very best that cheap Chinese construction can build*
* actually..it is pretty good.
I paid $115.00 on ebay and would be happy to get $100 for it...a fraction of the after-market price from your local machine tool super store. Oh wait....I forgot: there are no machine tool super stores anymore.
I can provide a photo tomorrow.

Hi Greg is this for the 7X12 lathe or a lathe with 12" swing?

It is for a lathe with a 12" swing, as in 12" diameter.

OK thanks Greg, thought it might have been for a 7X12 lathe.
