Complete Milling machine setup
My Dad is downsizing and has asked me to sell his workshop equipment
He was into live steam engines and clock making and the equipment has been lovingly looked after and has had a very easy life.
Up for sale is the complete setup, machine, setup equipment and tools as well as a good quality rotary table and dividing plates
The machine is a Hare & Forbes type LC-15A- made in Taiwan with an Australian made Crompton-Parkinson 1HP 240v motor.
This is one solid machine
20mm drilling capacity
Table size 430x180 T slots , nuts included
300mm travel
130mm traverse
Vertical Quill movement 100mm with a graduated stop
Included is
The milling machine
Spare chuck
2 draw bars
150mm rotary table with vertical and horizontal mountings
Large machine vice
Face cutter
2/3 Morse taper sleeve adaptor
Packing block set
3 way angle plate
90 degree angle plate
2 sets of jack screws
Clamps
T bolts
Full set of letter drills in stand
A stand made from Dexion angle
Assorted steel sections (short lengths)
He is asking for $1400 for the lot
It must be collected from Maroubra in Sydneys eastern suburbs. It will need 2 guys to remove it.
At this stage we are not interested in splitting up the offering, it really suits someone who wants to start milling

I have seen mills like that, bare, no extras fetch nearly that quite often. Good luck with it.

I am amazed no one has snapped this up including myself as you already know room is the problem for me. I hope it does well this is a bargain price for everything included.

Prices of import copies
Hey guy's,
i brought a wood planer 15 years ago, the cheapest I could afford, 100 bucks from a tool store, cheap import, but Makita blue. Now you can buy them for 19 dollars off the shelf. Hare and Forbes have these Mill options at reasonable prices. All shown are copy imports too. With respect only the accessories make the mill valuable. Cheers Mark
