Machine rebuilding tools for sale
Owing to the impending migration north I am minimising my shop mass/volume.
The following scraping tools are for sale, keep in mind Aus Post's 22kg limit.
1. 18" camel back straightedge/spotting master with bevelled edge. Almost flat, needs another bit of work scraping it true. $200.00
2. 16" x 16" square cast iron master flat surface, ribbed underneatn, in timer box. This tool has been scraped by me to 75% flat, which means the new owner can enjoy a few hours of toil getting it perfect. Ideal for use as a small surface plate, or for the scraping of broad flat ways. $220.00
3. Starrett 199 Master Precision level. In wood box, like new, good to go. I also have a frame master level which I am keeping, hence the Starrett sale. $400.00, which is about what they fetch on ebay USA. You save big on postage.
4. Australian govt skills training manual on scraping. $12.00
5. Canode blue water soluble spotting medium. As used in the various scraping classes worldwide. Easy clean-up. $20.00 for a lifetime's supply.
6. Taylor Hobson Talyvel, with one remote level sensor module. New power supply. Compare a new equivalent at $Crazy money...$750.00
Greg. I am away until Sunday noon, but will have email, censors willing, on Saturday. It's all part of the service here at The House of Pain™

Sale items
Hi Greg,
I would be happy to take the camelback straight edge and square if no one has bagged the first. Have sent you a PM regarding this.
Thanks
Mark

Yes, the legendary Talyvel, as used by Taylor, and then later, Hobson, in their quest to find the flattest thing. As imagined by the ancient Egyptians in their quest to define the base of an isosceles triangle which led to their later three dimensional geometric models in stone.
As postulated by Einstein who, in a footnote, ruminated on parallel lines eventually converging. Only you can prove him wrong. And only with this crazy fine instrument. Claim Einstein's Nobel prize as your own! Revise history! Earn the right to a crazy hair cut! Forever!
Or just...you know: level sh*t to really hair-splitting degrees of level.
Its all good.
