    Default Small watchmakers lathe castings

I have a couple of sets of castings for a small watchmakers lathe to the JK Mold design from Model Engineer late 1960's. Cast in quality Grey Iron.

2" centre height x about 7" between centres.

    Set comprises of

    1xHeadstock
    1xTailstock
    1xsaddle
    1xcross slide
    1xtopslide
    1xtoolpost
    2x4 speed stepped pulleys

only 1 set with cast vee-bed

The other set can be supplied with bar stock as per the original design.

Asking price for set with cast bed is $250 plus postage.
price for set without bed is $225.

Interesting. I'd like to see the photo's. Could you estimate weight and/or postage cost to Kingsbury VIC 3083 for the set with the cast vee-bed?

    Thanks,
    Joe

    Joe,
Postage would be about $25. I've also added photos to the original post. There's a photo of machined components sitting on the cast bed. I don't have a photo of the unmachined bed casting at the moment. But will get one up if needed.

    Cheers,
    Peter.

    Peter,

Thank you for putting the photo's up. After thinking about it for a few days, it's probably too much of a project for me at the moment.

Best of luck with the sale.
