Lathe D1-3 Chuck Mounting Plate
Hi,
I need a couple of D1-3 mounting plates for mounting a small 3-jaw chuck and a small collet chuck.
Complete chucks OK, chuck can be worn-out or damaged, as long as the mounting plate is capable of being overhauled for accurate work.
Happy machining,
John.

I saw Mick Moyle of Summer Hill, Sydney had a D1-3 backplate for sale. Although unused, it looked to have been removed from a chuck, as it had holes and a spigot on it already. It looked to be Chinese. He might have some?
These things don't seem to be cheap anywhere, alas.

Jordan,
Thanks for the suggestion, Mick's price for a D1-3 x 6 inch back plate is $105.
Just hoping someone might have some life expired chucks with OK back plates.
Happy machining,
John.
