    Replied to your other thread.

Keep the Collets and Steady. the rest can go. You will be surprised the ridiculous prices people ask for these items especially since they are no longer manufactured.

Collets can be replaced with ER style stuff but more of them if bought cheap have noticeable runout that you will introduce in the work holding setup.

Maybe break the Reamers into 3 types ( Machine Reamer morse taper end x 18 $60.00, Hand Reamers x 28 $80.00 and 2 x Morse Taper hand reamers $20.00 ).

    Lantern Tool Post $25.00.

    Collet setup $250.00

    Fixed Steady $180.00

these parts will also fit 9" Hercus or 9" Sheraton lathe, the prices I have given are for a quick sale.

I will agree the prices seem reasonable for selling them on Marketplace or Gumtree.

I am imagining the Lantern tool post will be the last item to get sold

Lantern Toolpost. I use one for parting off. A "dig-in" will cause the parting tool to shift downwards, and it may not break. In a four way toolpost or quick change toolpost - it will be more rigid, but will probably break.

Also, with the Vee blocks (in your picture) it is usefuf for internal threading of small holes with small round tool (the end is at right angles).

I would e interested in it - if you decide to sell.

Just a note for anyone looking at the collets, they may be an odd South Bend size, I picked up a whole heap of collets from a South Bend and at first I thought they were 3C but they were a bit bigger, they seem to be somewhere in-between 3C and 4C sizes, seemed like their own size, would pay to measure the OD to confirm what size they are as if you wanted to add more collets to the set they may be hard to get if they aren't 3C to start with.

If you come up with a price for the reamers I would be interested in buying. I only say this as I am not what you would call a regular marketplace/gumtree viewer and will probably not see them.

    Thanks

I too could be interested in at least some of the reamers depending on size, condition and price

Keep the steady Bob. It will prove to be an invaluable bit of kit.
