Any voltage, regardless of whether it’s AC or DC is dangerous if not treated with respect, both have the capacity to render life extinct in a human being, so both are equally dangerous, any semantic argument around one being more dangerous than the other is purely academic. They can both kill that is all you need remember.
Anywho.. Moving along....
Those Penta drives look really interesting. I’ve seen a few conversions and scratch built machines with DC motors but they all seem to use the original controller, which kind of made them look a bit amateur when the front panel adjustment is measured in KM/H.

Ladders are second.
This is an old chart from the 1990's but the death cause list in a more recent study hasn't changed.

Surprising statistic. But that list is nearly 30 years old. I wonder whether the increase in RCD usage since then has changed the order?
