A 260 DGM to add to my collection
Hi all, I picked up this 260DGLMH to add to my collection, I will start the rebuild in the near future and post updates as I go, and since I had so much fun restoring 2 9inch lathes at the same time I will also be doing my 260ATM at the same time.

Nothing wrong with your eyes, I am very lucky with these lathes, all 3 of the aprons were like new, I think that they may have had a refurbishment just before they were removed from service, the worms in these are a weak point and tend to chew out, compared to the A/B apron these worms are tiny.

I thought I would add a few more photos, this time the double shaft system internals, down side to this system is that it takes up room around where you might want to but a stop i.e. micro or plain carriage stop.

Doesn't feel like I have achieved a great deal on these but there is a lot of clean parts and that has taken a lot longer than expected and there is still more to go, I have not even looked to the headstocks and gearboxes yet . Also have been sorting out my shed and did a job for a school fitting a guard to a machine for them and received the metric to inch change gears as payment which I am more than happy with.
