    Well the stand would make a good replacement for the flimsy example on my band saw and the other bits and pieces will most likely go into the I might need that one day collection
    I have a woodworking copy lathe that needs a motor

    Could the remnants be transformed into a die filer ? You already have the slow reciprocal motion. I haven't got much of a clue really, the idea of transforming it into something else seemed interesting.

    Turn this thread into a tiny competition - best suggestion wins a signed photo of the finished product.
