    Is the $434 just for bog standard bearings?

    They don't want to know, only deal through agents. I offered Timken an absolutely huge quantity and it made no difference. There is no stock worldwide for the most expensive one (18620B at over $100) and only 2 on back order waiting to be made. I think it would take an order of a thousand to get them interested. Mal

    I see why now, the B suffix means flanged which means uncommon.

    I did not realise they were flanged cups.

    There are two flanged cups in the 260 set. The unflanged model is only a fifth of the price.
