Hercus Shaper 270 Vise Handle
If anyone has a 'surplus to requirements' vise handle for a Hercus 270 shaper vise (I believe the Douglas is the same), I'd be happy to hear from you.
Attached is a photo of one and a scan from the Douglas parts list. Easy to make, but if possible I'd like an original to go with my overhauled vise.
The drive is 1/2" AF square, handle 'swing' is 4".
Thanks, Rod.

A Handle Alternative
Hi Rod,
Another possibility might be a Hercus handle. Their No.T41, supplied with the 3 inch machine vice, fits the Douglas even better than the original.

Thanks for the good information Bob. Appreciated.
If anyone has a spare Hercus T41 handle, it looks like it too would suit.
