hercus register
Now I'm cranky! I just spent ages typing a lengthy post in the Hercus Register thread only to be told it was more than 315 days old and I would have to go back and click on some tab to acknowledge this. I went back and my post was gone.
I'm too cheesed off to re-type the whole thing, so please excuse the brevity of this post. There's a 260AT from 1951 in the Hercus Register. I thought the 260s started being built in 1975. Can anyone clarify? I'm curious because I'm in the market for a 260ATM and I want to make sure I've got a good handle on the different models before I buy.
Rgds,

Jack,
If you look back several posts, you will see Last Hercus Manufactured. In that post is a list of manufacture dates and serial numbers.

Hi Ken,
That just confirms what I thought- Hercus didn't start making the 260 until 1975. However there's a 260AT in the register which dates from 1951 (number 117 on the list).
