Thread: Hercus original dark blue ?????????????

Hi all, can anyone help me out with a colour code or a name for the paint on the early 1940's Hercus I know it is a blackish,blue,grey but am wanting to get the original colour so I can restore an old lathe as this lathe is very faded in the colour I cannot use any of it as a colour sample
So please can any one help ???????????

My Hercus drill press from that era is a low sheen very dark grey almost black. Kind of reminds me of the old pedal Singer sewing machines.
