Looking for ORIGINAL old Hercus Pictures
Hi All, I am hoping someone out there has a early Hercus 9" which is still original with the rear mount support Bracket that has the flat pulley and motor attached
I am about to restore a old very old Hercus and would like to get some Photographs showing how the back support was mounted with the cast iron legs
I have seen many a lathe that is bench mounted but never seen one mounted with the legs and tray
If anybody can help please email any photos as I want to get this lathe as original as the day it came out of the factory
all the best Derek

I guess that is Fred Hercus himself on the cover of the old Manual PDF.

Hercus Pictures
Hi Richard and thank you but still no joy as the rear mounted assembly and lathe are bolted to a bench
I am after a picture showing a early lathe on cast iron legs with the rear mount attached to the castiron legs as they must have a lathe with that set up
Thanks again and I will keep on looking
all the best Derek
