a new floor
My 6 x 4 is in need of a new floor... what is the best option for cost..etc.....Was thinking aluminium tread plate, but the price put me off .

You could use steel checker plate about 2mm should be fine, or use Galvanised sheet about 2mm is OK too.
1.6 is a bit light and bends quite easy with a heavy load.

3mm Steel tread plate is around $170 for a1200x2400 sheet here in Adelaide, can’t imagine the cost being significantly different in Brisvegas. I need to put a new floor in my 7x4, I was going to buy the sheet and have the supplier guillotine to the length I need, that would add $15, again can’t imagine the pricing would alter radically in Qld
