New seat mount for the truck
Well the old seat suspension was getting worn and it required regular cranking to keep some sort of suspension but it was now getting to the point of being nonexistent, not to mention that the upholstery and foam was a bit the worse for wear
Current seat as shown after removal.

New old air ride seat that I removed from one of my other previously owned trucks with some blocks to work out new seat height.

New seat mount bracket welded up, will drill holes in the four tags, paint and fit sometime tomorrow and get some air fittings Monday to finish installation.

Just to be difficult the new mounting system should technically be inspected by an Engineer and a report submitted tot he appropriate Roads Dept.
Personally I probably wouldn't in this case but that's the law.

Yes that is true but it'll never be done unless I'm instructed to do so via the appropriate authority.
Meant to update this thread, seat is installed and air connected and was extensively tested yesterday on some of the bumpy roads in the the valley and also some off road paddock driving and my co driver and I are very pleased with it
