Default Plasma cutter @ Hare & forbes

Hello all, Been thinking of getting a plasma cutter for a while now and saw this package deal at H&F. Has anybody got one of these units and are they any good and live up to the written description about them. They seeem suitable for me with a 12mm thickness cut. Interested in feedback either good or bad. Thanks all for your thoughts - Ian, retired fitter

    Hi hpa1

Just be aware of the thickness and the type of metal.

While it might cut 12mm L.C.S it may not cut stainless steel in the same thickness.

Traps for new players -etc Pays to check those those type of things out.

i got the cut40 HF , broke down under warranty and was fixed within 3 weeks so good after sales service . My advise buy a packet of consumables at the same time as they can wear out quickly when you starting out. I think the cut30 can be used on a CNC machine, a nice feature. I bought the longer extension tips to make it easier to get into tight spaces , also allows easier straight cuts when using a guide bar.
