Ozito MWR-135
Hi
i have an ozito mwr-135 mig welder (i10 years old) and am trying to source (amongst other things) some wire feed rollers for it.
However, as per the photo, it has a rather unusual roller shaft.
Does anyone know:
a) what other brand & model of welder might be similar to mine.
b) where i might source such rollers? (OD 25mm, ID 8mm, 7mm thick)
thanks in advance.

re the Ozito drive wheels.
I say its fairly likely that your Ozito drive wheels fitted could be common sizes across a range of some other brands and models.
A phone call to a NZ dedicated welding supply shop might yield a result.
Otherwise there is https://www.bobthewelder.com.au/Drive-Rollers. he had 47 items listed. <edit BTW has one listed as 25 x 7.9 x7.3-he shows dig vernier pics of dimensions)-any chance of a minor error on your spindle diam measurement ?.
or
Some of our blokes may recognise the dimensions given and be able to advise you if their machine brand and model has the same and you might be able to order them as spare parts.
I would not hold too much hope with Ozito holding spares (but you never know) I was wrong see this http://cdn2.blocksassets.com/assets/...pare-Parts.pdf -see the text and P nos might be a special order through Bunnings.
Again, welcome to our forums.

Hi Graham
Thanks for your suggestions.
i had been in contact with ozito tech dept. who interestingly enough tried to be helpful but due to the age of the machine couldn't.
Whilst the machine was made in China and Ozito simply put their label on it, Ozito couldn't (wouldn't?) supply the manufacturer's details. I rather suspect the original manufacturer still exists & only supplies the Chinese market (&/or Bossweld).
Local welding shops dont carry such stock (but do suggest purchasing superior machines with readily available parts).
My alternative is to use a std. slotted keyed wheel & then make up a square key....
The Bossweld wheel has the same dimensions (shaft dia on ozito is also 7.9)...but BobTheWelder only has the K style groove. Regardless, i will contact him (& Bossweld!).

a kudo to cigweld
Hi to anyone reading this thread.
i managed to source the wire feeder rollers.... from......cigweld!
Their older cigweld 135 is virtually identical to the ozito (including the feeder roller).
In the course of my search i also discovered that the clarke 135 (UK) & the forney 306 (USA) are also virtual identical (except for the feeder roller).
So i suspect they are all a copy of the original forney.
Regardless, i would just like to add that i have never encountered such superb technical support as i did from cigweld & would like to splash that fact everywhere.
Its seldom that one can say that one had superb technical support.
A Cigweld will be my next welder.....i must also add that this is for home/farm use.
