    Default 7x5 Camper Trailer Chassis - Welding Time / Cost

    Hi everyone,

    I'm looking to build a 7x5 camper trailer chassis. Knowing the limits of my welding capabilities, I'm thinking I could measure / cut steel and tack weld together before getting a mobile welding professional in to weld it up properly.

    The design is https://www.trailerplans.com.au/prod...amper-trailer/ but will only need the core chassis as shown in the attached photo.

    My question is, roughly how many hours should I expect a mobile welder to take to do the final welding task, and how would this translate into a total cost for a mobile welder? I'll be available to assist with moving the trailer chassis etc.
