Last week a new Optrel* came home with me. Not sure what to do with the Elite - I think the electronics are probably e-waste as they can be a bit erratic and for occasional use I don't fancy buying those batteries all the time plus I have a BOC fixed shade helmet for backup and/or visitors. Anyone running a Miller Elite (digital or otherwise)? I have a few surplus covers and headbands that I probably won't end up using. Mine is not the digital version but I'm told that consumables are interchangable. The shell and headband are likely good enough for replacement parts if someone has an old Elite in need, although the Miller logo is almost worn away.
For those looking for a new helmet, I still have this one too - https://metalworkforums.com/f223/t20...welding-helmet
*Panoramaxx CLT for those who follow these things. The clarity through the lens is stunning. I was TIG welding some steel while trying it out and could see the oxide colours through the lens - through the old lenses, everything was green.
