Cool Weldskill 200 AC/DC (novice questions)

Hi lads, sorry to bother you with this inane question, I'm a novice welder, done plenty of oxy cutting, working in demolition, minimal stainless arc welding.
I recently invested in a WeldSkill 200 AC/DC with the primary intention of fabricating a seat box for my boat, obviously hoping she'll be an invaluable bit of kit to expand my fabricating dreams.
I'm Currently waiting on the restrictions to ease off in Victoria so I can have my brother over to wire up the 15amp outlet. So, while I wait, I'm trying to get my head around what I'll need to get setup so I'm ready to have a crack once she's up and running.
I've looked at quite a few youtube videos and am leaning towards using pyrex cups, I assume I'll be welding pretty small, and would like to see everything going on to give me a chance to learn, any advantage I can get off the bat is a welcome one. ill be looking to use a gas lens setup, and I'm not sure what size tig torch I have.. WP17/18/26 etc, I've had a solid look on Google but haven't stumbled on it. I'm assuming, the difference will be the diameter of the thread??
That leads me to my question, does anybody know what style of torch comes with this machine?
    Cheers fellas

    Default Tig torch

    Hello Chuck92.
You must have bought an old stock machine. The weldskill 205 has been current for some time. You are better off in my opinion.
The standard torch is a Linde style T26F. A medium size gas lens for 2.4mm Zirc tungstens is a 45V26. Unimig supply Pyrex cup kits that are well priced and they have a good catalogue online. They also have a distributor look up box.
A very good Youtube channel is Welding Tips and Tricks. most of the others are BS.
A good text book for welding beginners is Performance Welding. It covers all the basic techniques for oxy acet, mig, tig and stick. It was sold by Pitstop bookshop in Perth but I think now out of print. An Ebay and Google search should find you a copy.

Cheers BC, yeah you're right it's a obsolete model, not quite sure when the Weldskill200 was discontinued, it does still have the updated front panel which more or less matches the 205, the price was right for me at $1100 with the only noticeable difference being the reduced weight, quick connect gas fitting and a couple of other portability features, I'm happy to have a brick sitting on the bench for the time being, fingers crossed that rings true and don't run into any critical design faults with the machine haha.
Thanks for the info on the torch, that's exactly what I was after! As for youtuber's, I did recently come across Jody's channel, what a guy he is, pretty lucky to have that resource at a beginners disposal
As for the textbook, I managed to find it on amazon for $25, It looks like what I'm after, struggled to find any textbooks that were specific to aluminium TIG welding that didn't have a long list of junk reviews.
Appreciate the reply and info, just the confidence I needed.

I forgot to mention in my original post, I'm also looking for a foot pedal control, I can't justify paying $450 for the CIGWELD branded pedal, I noticed it has an 8 pin connector and found several 8-pin foot pedal controls from other manufacturers, the one I'm looking at is by "arcoweld", do you know if this machine will run off an alternative brand foot pedal? It's probably not a huge priority at the moment, but I much prefer the idea of having control of the amps with a pedal rather than the dial that is on the torch.

    All the best

    Default Tig welder

    Hello again Chuck92.
The foot control has to have a matching resistance as well as cable plug. The correct item is W4014450. List is $323.24 plus GST. Ring around for a price. Save the dollars and get used to the torch current control.

    Hello Chuck92.
The above URL leads to a basic tig welding video by Bob Moffat of weld.com. They are a Canadian welding school and provide good info.
