    Default Transmig 330se

    Hello all new to this forum and im looking for a manual for a Transmig 330 SE welder, I recently purchased it as a non working unit was advise was working then just stopped all of a sudden however i haven't powered it up yet to start inspecting , there is nothing visibly i can see ie burnt control board or anything is there anything particular that goes wrong with this machine and any idea where i could get a manual from have searched online with no luck.

    Hi Dean welcome to the forum. I just did some googling and found a brochure, wiring diagram and a manual, now the manual may or may not be the right one. If the manual isn't the right one then try emailing Cigweld and see if they can supply one. The wiring diagram I found here https://www.practicalmachinist.com/v...-phase-357408/ . I have absolutely no idea what goes wrong with these welders. I would start by checking the basics first fuses, power cord, transformer. Please be careful when your working on it as we like all our members to be alive and well.

    Is it the compact version or the one with remote wire feeder?

    I'd probably start by plugging it in and see what it is doing? Power light on, fan going etc?

    What happens when you press the trigger, any noises?

    Thanks Manual listed is std 330 mine unfortunatly is a 330SE Compact once i get it powered up ill do some basic checks.
