The machine I've pulled apart often had 2 of them wired in (not a bossweld). Is there a second one to compare it to?
As for wiring them, pretty simple if you know which rectifier you need to install. Solder them with inputs opposite each other, and outputs opposite- I-O-I-O if you were to read it going clockwise. Doesn't matter which wire goes where on the input side as it just inverts the AC waveform. This was for the square format rectifiers. For all intents and purposes, 4 diodes wired in the same config would give the same result, but maybe not the longevity.
Probably a good start to read the markings on your rectifier and dig up a tech sheet for that product online thru somewhere like RS components, mouser, or similar.

This is the only picture I have of the one from my old one. You could try PM’ing Lamestlama he bought it from me, and may be able to assist further.
The AC attaches on the lugs sticking up, the rectified DC goes out on the plates marked +/-
The polarity of the DC will be relative to which way you put the AC into it. Check it with a digital meter without the DC leads attached.
