Default The best things in life are free...

.....but you can keep them for the birds and bees

    The conversation went...

Wife: How come you never get me any jewellery?
Me: -I don't know what you like.
Wife: I like anything with a big stone on it.

Easy done, two types of stainless welding wire and a chuckie from the driveway. How many Carats should I make it? A small hole seemed the easiest way to mount it and a knot in the wire to hold it.

If you want to try this yourself, don't make the stone too big. It hurt when she "gave" it back to me. It was exactly the right size too, Ungrateful or what?

How ungrateful. Not all women can lay claim to such fine things. I bet the wire was even 316, none of that cheap 304 rubbish.

You betcha! Actually don't knock it, 316 polishes up great. I did actually make another prototype for herself.

This was only 1/16th rod, just to prove you don't need a lot of materials to learn welding
