Thread: Experienced cast iron welder wanted

Hi all,

Is there anyone in Melbourne who is able to weld cast iron and do a good job (no offence meant, but I know it's a dying art and I don't want people who THINK they can do it and I'm perfectly happy to pay the price for an experienced craftsman) or know someone who can?

I have an old Stanley 85 plane that has cracked and would like it fixed properly.

Any information would be much appreciated.
