You only need to change tips. LPG uses a special tip for cutting which mixes the gas differently than the tips for oxy/acet
As far as welding/brazing tips go...... I use my oxy/acet tips for that. They don't light up and have to be modified though. I did this on isntruction from someone here and it works quitre well. You can buy oxy/lpg brazing tips though, so that might be the way to go for you.
Cutting tips are available in all of the needed sizes from a guy on e-bay. I think I paid about $10.00 each for them, and they work perfectly. I have a comet setup BTW.

What you may notice about LPG cutting tips is the face of the nozzle is recessed to help it light and stay lit. Same goes for heating nozzles. You don't want to use an acetylene tip with LPG.

Hey, I've looked all over the site and I can't find any info on modifying oxy tips for L.P.G. Just wondering if you know where it might be found, or, if you could relay the relevent info yourself, it would be muchly appreciated. Ta.

Hmmm. I just searched and nothing came up for me either.
So.... here is what I did.
On a #7 tip, I drilled in to the hole in the end of the tip down about 3mm with a drill that was double the diameter of the existing hole. I then used a HSS countersink to make a cup form to the hole and it all works well. On other size tips I have started with this system and modified by trial and error. There are dedicated LPG tips available from CIG Boc etc, but I have not seen them in person, so I am not sure what the ends of the tip look like.
Mabey Graham can offer some better advcie.
All in all, I find the oxy/lpg is adequate for most of my needs, however I really do prefer oxy/acet. I just don't like the costs associated these days since the bottle logging by the suppliers has ruined my old system of getting my FIL to have my fills done on his account.
