Where to buy cheap mig wire, both gas and gasless, preferably in the Melbourne area?

I've got 2 rolls of copper and aluminium I got as part of an auction.
Very heavy, around 10 inch wide?
I have no idea what they are worth, but you can make a fair offer?

But I'm in Sydney.....
Regards
Greg

Thanks for the offer but I think the postage would offset any savings I would make..:o

Don't know about in Melbourne, but I find the cheapest places for mig wire tends to be my steel supplier and/or the local BOC agent. The local auto shops and places that don't specialise in steel/welding tend to be quite expensive.

I've looked at getting it online, but because of weight, the delivered price puts it close to the local price ... and for a few dollars I'd rather support the local guy.

Try your local Supagas agent, they are reasonably priced

These guys are in Eltham. I use them for all my welding gear and they've got a pretty well stocked shop now too.

15kg spools would be cheapest you can pick these up for about $30 from most welding stores. You need gas though.

smaller spools are more expensive as are gasless spools.
