Hi,
I'm from quebec in canada and I want to move to australia... I'm a welder and an ironworker(ironworker here work only in altitude) with 3 years of exprience and I would like to know if i should go to work in australia. How much hours in a week do you work, where should i go, salary, unions,and stuff like that.

If you're still reading this after 6 days, here goes.

Salut :) I'm originally from Montreal, plenty of work around australia for tradesmen. Salaries are decent too. Have a look at the immigration website to find out more about the subject.

You'll have to "prove" you're good enough to be a welder in australia before you're allowed to make an application for migration. Here's "Trades Recognitions Australia" 's website.

Migrating here is not easy but it's a great country if you really want to do it. On the other hand you can also come here on a one year working holiday and test the waters if you're between 18 and 30 years old.
