Cheap source for small amount of 6mm, thin wall stainless tubing.

I needed about 60 mm of 6 mm stainless tubing and was going to buy some from Small Parts but they wanted $13 + $10 shipping for a 300mm length.
Plus I would have to wait for at least 2 weeks to get it from the east coast

Browsing around on the Web I found a set of IKEA Upp-slu-kad SS straws for $6

Each straw is about 270 mm long, 5mm ID so 0.5mm wall thickness.
Comes in set of 4 , in sexy colours, plus a useful little cleaning brush for $6.

SWMBO found a similar set at the Reject Shop for $2, "unfortunately" they are all the same colour.

Found the same for a dollar or two less at The Reject Shop a few weeks ago. No immediate use for them but they're bound to come in handy one day...

Another source for sets of different sizes (2mm to 8mm) is stainless steel knitting needles - thin walled (search on ebay)
