Jones and Shipman 540 Surface grinder. Getting it going for the first time.

Hi all,

I've had a Jones and shipman 540 sat in the corner of my workshop for about 18 months now. Yesterday I finally got it going for the first time. Hope you enjoy the video and if you have any tips on running one of these machines I would love to hear them as i'm a total beginner.

I must do a maintenance plan for a couple of Jones & Shipman 540s at my work. Does anyone know any maintenance jobs for 540s for daily, weekly, monthly and yearly, with regards to keeping the machine going without the intervention of having to fix it it after its broken down.

Id very much apreciate any advice as i dont believe the manual tells me enough!
