Hi there

I am after a few decorative sheets of pressed metal - am guessing something like aluminium reproduction sheets would do the trick. I saw a place on ebay, but it is quite pricey to lug a few sheets to Brisbane from SA. Anyone know of SE QLD dealers?

Cheers
Dan

A bit more detail is required..........

Wadda ya mean 'pressed metal'???

Exactly that - metal that has been pressed into a decorative template. Sometimes features on the ceilings of old houses, but I want it to inlay into doors of a cabinet I am making.

Here is an example attached.

They are called pressed metal ceiling sheets.

Give Goods & Chattles (http://www.goodsandchattels.com/) a call, if they don't have them they will know where to get hold of some! ;) :D

If you're only after a couple keep trying the secondhand shops & demo yards. I just got onto some for you at Toowoomba Recycled Timber (07 46321430) who have some 1.8m lengths for $20 each, condition various! There is also some smaller panels.
I've got a ute and can pick them up and hold'em for you.
