Hi all - new forum member from Newcastle - some of you already know me (like Joe who knows me from CX-land).
Have been into all things automotive for years, though as time has passed I have found myself more drawn towards vintage tools and tooling and I keep on doing deep dives into vintage manufacturers as I pick up gear from a manufacturer that I don't know a lot about.

I have found that most of the people who know about the Australian tool making companies are of retirement age or older and the info that is stored in their heads usually isn't written down anywhere or is hard to find... and I rather enjoy putting it all in one spot for people to read about. It's surprising how many people find their way to the site and send me photos of the gear they have that's been handed down through the generations or stories about their relatives working in the factories that made the tools.
