Hi all, I’m interested in all things metal work but am in no way qualified. I can do basic farm repairs with a MIG welder and can do very limited TIG welding and average ARC welding. Just thought I’d say hi and am keen to learn more about metal fabrication.

Welcome Ando.

Mostly a friendly bunch here with the odd snarky one being shown the exit door quickly by the mods.

I almost got excited when I saw a new member from Shepparton area; only to see that you are further away at Nagambie.

Ken from Kyabram.

I’m accustomed to that on forums Ken but thanks for the heads up anyway. Nagambie isn’t too far away from Kyabram, 45 mins to an hour isn’t it?

Hi Ando81,

Welcome to our MetalWork Forum.

You will find a bunch of highly skilled and knowledgeable folk here who are eager to help one another.

There will be people to help and advise on all types of fabrication. Welding forum is a good place to start.

If you need to post a pic, please note that the first ten posts (pics) are moderated. Nothing to worry about ,it is the way the anti spam software is structured.

If you post a pic and it is not visible in a day or two I have probably missed it, so just PM me and tell me where it is - ie what forum, and I"ll sort it.

Videos are different with vids and U tubes going in to the applicable forum. Your personal videos or personal U tubes need to go in in the Members Videos section.
To have a look at all the sub forums we have, go to the LH top corner and click FORUM.

From the drop down selection choose Forum Home and from there you can scroll down and see all the different sub forums we have plus the forum Rules right at the top.
If there anything about the forum you need to know just ask.

Welcome again.

Grahame

Thanks for the warm welcome Grahame. I’ve found on car based forums that if everyone respects each other than they are a great place to share knowledge. I’ll probably take a while to find my feet, just be happy reading other member’s insight etc. Thanks again, Justin
