Lots of posts in this sub-forum with metalworkers giving electrical advice. Can I suggest this sub-forum instead:

You'll get an Australian licensed sparky answering your question. You might not like the answer though. :)

This may be of interest.

Leading causes of hospital presentations, admissions and deaths from DIY injuries in Victoria in 1999.
BTW motor vehicles death (especially cars) refers to DIY working on/in/under/around vehicles but not driving on roads.
NB position of Ladders in all 3 columns.

I suspect "electric shock" is waaaay under represented because most folks have no idea they should go to hospital if they get one.

Hi Guys,

I once got knocked out by a 25Kv arc to my arm from a projection TV some years ago ! I came round in the ambulance and was told to sit and relax till I felt better. No one bothered to treat the little burn hole in my arm ! That took ages to heal.

Looks like according to that table we should encourage the destruction of those deadly trees. :)

Actually some of the posts on that forum are from a bot a friend of mine wrote.

Just don't use hatchets, knives, chainsaws, circular saws, power saws, ladders, tractors, backhoes or cars to do it though, and better not burn them either.:D
