G'day

I after someone who can assist me with the odd project that I can not complete myself.
Ideally someone located in the eastern inner Melbourne area - Boroondara, Manningham, Darebin, Yarra, Whitehorse. Im in North Balwyn.

Some requirements that I may need:
1) Working with surgical grade 304, 316, 410, 420
2) Precise Treating and hardening the above
3) Welding the above
4) Delicate welds and jobs
5) Working with Titanium - if possible
6) Some projects may be confidential :P

Most projects would for small hand sized tools from 50mm up to around 500mm in length Max.

Hopefully someone will be able to assist.
Cheers

You can't heat treat 304 or 316 to get any significant increase in hardness.

Are you, perchance, an inventor?

Hey PDW

Im an inventor and on occasion I do contract projects for clients. Most of my jobs are for the surgical/medical/veterinary field.
Yes, I am aware that 304 and 316 can not be hardened. I guess I rushed the description of what I need. Many of my projects are with 316, 316L and 420. For my applications 420 must be treated before it can be used.
Thanks for the heads up
