Ok I have a problem, well a few actually but one in specific I want to ask about.
I bought a Power Surface grinder last year and am trying to get it running again. It is flat belt driven and the previous oven had started to modify it.
It has a interesting pulley set up and a weighted tension arm. There is one short belt for the auto feed. The longer one drives the head.

No issue there I think I have the belts butted out.
My problem is the long belt with no join is no longer attached to the grinder head spindle.
He has also machined grooves into that pulley to take rubber belts. I need to replace this with an original one but I can't see how to get it out?

At the back of the head is a single nut and a bearing race.

The front is a bit more elaborate and I don't have the spanners for it.

A few of you have rebuilt other machines is this similar and any tips on the way to tackle it???
