Starrett 132-18 level

Hi, I just picked up an old one of these and I can find little information on them. Does anyone know much about these levels? I know Starrett are known for the quality and was wondering whether this may be worth something.

I think I paid about $60 for mine and $25 for the short one at the HTPAA sales.

Hi welcome to the forum. That is a pretty large level. If it works properly it would be worth something. I have not seen one that large mentioned before. General concensus is that Starrett is good quality, but maybe not as good as you would think based on the number of times it gets rave mentions. Watching many of the US YouTube channels seems to turn into a Starrett rave session. The brand name dropping gets a bit tedious at times.

What is your intention with this level? Did you buy it to use? The design looks old. Is the level part in good condition and are the top/bottom surfaces undamaged? No, I am not thinking of buying it. :rolleyes:
